Pulse Controller Installation

The PowerWiper is shipped configured for the "J-Hook" wiper arm attachment. In, addition, the PowerWiper comes with adapters for "Top Lock" and "Pinch Lock" wiper arms. Mack pin type wiper arms require a special adapter. Call for additional information.

  1. Install wiper in a conventional manner
  2. Zip-tie wiper power lead to wiper arm
  3. Run wire under hood to Pulse Controller leads. A solder connection with heat shrink tubing is preferred between leads.

Note: The Pulse Controller is protected by a auto-reset 5-amp electronic circuit breaker. To protect the power lead to the control and allow for surge, a 10-amp inline 18 AWG fuse may be installed.
The pulse control wiring is color coded and is connected as follows
Red        - Positive power input 12VDC from vehicle
Black   - Negative ground 12VDC from vehicle
Blue       + Positive motor 1
Brown    - Negative motor 1
Green     + Positive motor 2
White     - Negative motor 2

Motor wiring
+ Red Positive

CAUTION!
Blue and Brown are paired, circuit one.
Green and White are paired, circuit two.

The pairs may be connected to either motor. Correct operation depends on the Pulse Control receiving signals through wire pairs from motors. Power and ground for motors must run through Pulse computer control.

DO NOT REVERSE MOTOR POLARITY. DO NOT USE A COMMON GROUND FOR POWERWIPER MOTORS. DAMAGE TO MOTORS WILL OCCUR!
